Last Sunday I spent the afternoon @ the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. The Omaha Flickr group organized a trip to the zoo for their monthly photowalk. I haven't been to a photowalk since the Lincoln Flickr group was at the Haymarket last May. There was an attendance of 25+ photographers at this walk, and I know there were others there that didn't even get a chance to meet-up with the group. There were familiar faces, and I also met new photographers as well. One of my flickr contacts is from Lincoln like me, but it took this Omaha walk for us to finally meet.

I was only at the zoo for three hours so I didn't even get through half of it. I'm happy with the shots I did get that day. My favorite has been published with this post....it was a spontaneous shot that turned out great. The Rainforest & Desert Dome shall wait for another trip. Our Omaha Zoo is truly a great attraction, not like most zoos around the country. If you're ever in town that's one place worth visiting.
