Matt Wertz has signed a record deal with Universal Republic. [Colbie Callait, Jack Johnson, Amy Winehouse] Though his new cd will still bear the "Handwritten" logo. The new record is set to come out in May, but the date is flexible for now. Wertz will record 3 new songs for the cd to add with 9 faves from previous discs. The whole record is being remixed and mastered for our listening pleasure. It'll have a new name too, he's up for suggestions. Hit up his myspace page and shout out some of your best titles.

OneRepublic is the latest band to add an episode to the stripped music archive. More recognizable songs featured are the radio spinning "apologize" and "stop and stare". Other songs performed by the band are "say [all i need]" and "come home". Artists are also asked to play a cover. OneRepublic did their own version of Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye".
