It just seems right to have coldplay spinning when the first snow is falling down outside. "Daylight" is playing in the background as I write this blog. I can't believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Wasn't it just the Fourth of July?? It's like I'm living holiday to holiday. Halloween was the blink of an eye, and now it's snowing outside. Gee.I'll be driving to Colorado on Friday if the weather holds out. There's a chance of precipitation that day but I'm hoping it will wait for us to get out of town. We'll be traveling during the Nebraska vs. Colorado game. I'm going to see if I can find a radio station to catch it. Should be a good listen. If Nebraska wins we could be bowling over the holiday season!! I hope we do for my brothers sake. This might be their last year in the UNL band and a bowl trip would make all of the hard work this season worth it. Go Huskers!!
What am I thankful for you may ask? I'm thankful for many things this year. For one my family, without them I don't know how I'd make it through the day. Seriously. I'm thankful for "Ace of Cakes" on the Food Network. That show makes me laugh everytime I watch it. It's hilarious. I'm thankful for the music I listen too. There's always a cd for every mood. The trick is to know which one to pick at the right time. I'm thankful for photography. Even though I haven't taken much lately, other people's work inspires me to be creative. I'm thankful for coffee. I can't help it, I'm a starbucks girl. I'm thankful for Mocha Club. All of the work their doing in Africa, and the changes their making is amazing.
